The Kiswah is produced annually at the Kiswah Factory in Makkah, where skilled artisans dedicate months to its creation.

Materials Used

  • 100% natural silk

  • Gold-plated and silver-plated threads

  • Cotton lining for strength

The Process

  1. Silk is dyed deep black

  2. Quranic verses are carefully designed

  3. Hand embroidery using gold and silver threads

  4. Panels are stitched together with precision

The entire process takes 8–10 months, reflecting the honor of covering the House of Allah.
